Trainer/Consultant in Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD
Consistent with our mission to enhance the availability, accessibility, and quality evidence-based and integrated services to Veterans in the Rio Grande Valley, VWI is partnering with Madre Bay Consulting & Psychological Services, PsychArmor Institute, and Doctors Hospital at Renaissance to bring a 3-day training in Group-Delivered Combined Cognitive Processing Therapy and Exposure Therapy for PTSD. Thanks to the recent fundraiser for Veteran suicide awareness, we are able to bring this unique opportunity to provide scholarship discounts to qualifying clinicians serving Veterans in the Rio Grande Valley, bringing the cost down to $200. This includes the training plus 16 weeks of consultation.
Day 1 –Brief PTSD Overview and Cognitive Processing Therapy
Day 2 – Prolonged Exposure Therapy
Day 3 – Level 2 Skills
There are limited spaces available for this training. Priority will be given to Masters level or higher licensed clinicians (or supervised interns) who work with Veterans in the Rio Grande Valley and are currently facilitating groups, or have the capability of doing so. Day 1 and Day 2 may be attended by other clinicians or peer specialists who work with Veterans.
